According to many experts, Mallorca is the top road cycling destination in the world. 

Fantastic cycling routes can be found between our Hotel Son Caliu Spa Oasis in the south and Alcudia in the north, between the Serra de Tramuntana mountains in the west and the rocky coast of Calas in the east. Endless routes to enjoy on wheels.

This page describes four proposals for cycling routes of varying difficulty to take from our hotel around the Serra de Tramuntana and the east coast.

Difficulty: easy – 36 km

Es Capdellà

Give your legs a good stretch over 36 kilometres in the region of El Toro, Santa Ponça, Peguera, Es Capdellà and Calvià. This route has few flat areas but should not be too difficult.
Cycling Friendly easy road trail starting from the Hotel Son Caliu Oasis Spa 4*, with a positive elevation of 360m.

Portals Nous

Another easy route that we have to offer you is for all audiences because it is a smooth, short-distance route to enjoy with the family.

Valldemosa – Sóller –
Coll de sa Creu

We ride deep into the Serra de Tramuntana Word Heritage Site, via Valldemossa and down to Deià and Sóller – a beautiful stretch to cycle on.
On the way back we will pass through two long ports in Coll de Sóller and Coll de sa Creu, which has recently been paved.

Finca Biniagual

This route towards Esporlas, leaving spectacular landscapes behind. The route runs into the interior of the island, passing through Sta María del Camí, to finally reach the Bodegas de la Finca Biniagual.

Port des Canonge

Enjoy incredible views and an unbeatable challenge on this route to Es Port des Canonge. One of the most difficult routes through Tramuntana to one of the most charismatic ports in Majorca Port des Canonge, with a challenging gradient. This is possible one of Majorca’s most beautiful and challenging routes.
